What is the Significance of Pragati Exam?

The Paragati exam, also known as the All India Pre-Medical Test, is a national level entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is held annually for students who wish to pursue a career in the medical field, specifically in undergraduate medical programs in India.

About Pragati Exam

The Pragati exam consists of three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Each section has a total of 45 questions, for a total of 180 questions on the exam. The exam is conducted in a multiple-choice format, with each question having four options to choose from.

The exam is held in the month of May and the results are usually announced in the month of June. The exam is conducted in both English and Hindi language. To be eligible for the Paragati exam, students must have completed their higher secondary education (12th grade) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as their main subjects. They must also have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in these subjects.
