Haryana Launches Quality Improvement Program In Schools & Government Universities In Haryana

Haryana is a state in Northern India and has a literacy rate of 76.64% as per the 2011 census. It has nearly 20,000 schools including Government and private. Haryana has decided to start a statewide Quality Improvement Program in the Government schools to improve the learning level outcomes of the students.
This program will benefit around 27 lakh students and 1.25 lakh teachers. The Education department has identified critical initiatives which need interventions and has formed teams for each of them. It is a 3 - 5 year project and all the Government schools will undergo transformation.
